Privacy Policy for EDLINKUP

At EDLINKUP, accessible from https://edlinkup.co.tz , one of EDLINKUP main priorities is the privacy of users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by EDLINKUP and how EDLINKUP use it.

EDLINKUP Platform Privacy Policy priority; is to create a safe-space for user; against online bullying, discrimination, sexual exploitation and abuse.

This Privacy Policy applies only to online activities and is valid for user of EDLINKUP platform in regards to the information that is shared and/or collected in EDLINKUP Platform. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than the Platform.

4.0: Log Files

EDLINKUP platform follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log users when they visit EDLINKUP platform. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services' analytics. 7.0 EDLINKUP platform Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the EDLINKUP platform, user have the right to:

  • Request anyone/businesses that collects personal data, disclose the categories and specific details of personal data that has been collected about a user.
  • Request anyone/businesses delete any personal data about the user that has been collected.

  • Request that a anyone/businesses that sells a user personal data, not to sell the user personal data.

Personal Data Protection Rights
EDLINKUP Platform Personal Data is protected under The United Republic of Tanzania, Personal Data Protection Act 2022 Act No.11 of 2022 data.
The right to data portability – User have the right to request that EDLINKUP transfer the data that have collected to another organization, or directly to User, under certain conditions.
If User make a request, EDLINKUP have one month to respond. If User would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact EDLINKUP.
7.0: Partners Information
Another part of EDLINKUP priority is adding protection for Partners information while using EDLINKUP Platform in the internet. All partners private information is protected from public arena at all cost. If partner think that private information is made public on EDLINKUP Platform, EDLINKUP strongly encourage Partners to contact EDLINKUP immediately and EDLINKUP will promptly secure and safeguard information from EDLINKUP records.
8.0: Children's Protection & Information
EDLINKUP priority is to create a safe-space for children; against online bullying, discrimination, sexual exploitation and abuse.
Another part of EDLINKUP priority is to secure children’s information while using EDLINKUP Platform. EDLINKUP encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their children online activities.
EDLINKUP Platform, is on-line Academic Service, knowingly collect Information of children. All children information is protected from public arena at all cost. If User think that his/her child information is made public on EDLINKUP Platform, EDLINKUP strongly encourage User to contact EDLINKUP immediately and EDLINKUP will do best efforts to promptly to secure and safeguard information from EDLINKUP records.
